Case similar to Antec 300, but large enough for the GTX 970 G1?

I have an Antec 300 case from my original OCUK system from years ago. I have also just purchased the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming GPU to replace my ageing Radeon HD 5850

Unfortunately, the card is about 33mm too long to fit inside the case!

Rather than return the card, I am now on the hunt for a suitable new case.

Can anyone suggest something similar to the Antec 300, but with the extra length suitable for the GTX 970 G1? Also, ideally, something that will be easy to transfer my existing system into!

At the moment, the following two look like good contenders?

BitFenix Neos ATX Tower Black/Black: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-162-BX

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Full Tower Case - Black: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-004-PT

Current full system below:

Case: Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
Power Supply: OCZ StealthXStream II 600W
CPU: Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz overclocked to 4.00GHz
Motherboard: Asus P7P55-M Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard
Cooler: Akasa Venom CPU Cooler
RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB (4x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel
System Drive: 512MB SSD
Hard Drive 1: 4TB SATA
Hard Drive 2: 4TB SATA
Optical Drive: 22x DVD+RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter

Any advice much appreciated!

The Enthoo Luxe is a great case, you might want to look at it's brother the Enthoo Pro which is similar internally but without the LEDs, different front panel etc and cheaper

I was going to suggest that case myself, or this.

middle set of drive bays can be totally removed for looooooooooooooooong cards.

^ sounds adventurous and not everyone has the time for that:p thanks for the conversion suggestion though that's sonething I might buy personally lol, at the moment poor SSD is zip tied to 5.25 cage :(

As for actual cases recommendations I've taken a liking to Aerocool's latest offering:

Also available in white, as you can see plenty of room after removing middle HDD cage and even then you can comfortably fit your drives :)

Take a hammer and a chisel, cut the ends off the rivets that hold the HDD cage in, stick the HDDs in the optical bays in a Lian Li caddy or similar then you'll have all the room in the world, that's what I did. :)

In the end I borrowed a friend's pair of tin snips and made, er, some rather ghetto adjustments to the drive bay chassis; making a suitably large hole so that the card fits in.

I even managed to avoid cutting myself! So although the case now looks terrible inside, I still count it as a win.

I'll leave off the CPU upgrade until next year... :-)

Thanks!

I did a similar thing with my old Antec One. Totally worth it, no window so no one can see.

I have an Antec 300 which I tweaked to allow longer cards. No need for a dremel or any faffing like that. Just get an old chisel or flat blade screwdriver and a hammer and you can knock the heads off the rivets. Be sure to hit the heads from the sides ie 90 degrees, it only takes one or two blows and they just shear off.
