Also why did you put it back on the wall where you found it, instead of outside the window where the chap could find plenty of food?
just put them out, and move on with your life.

I expect this one I have in my greenhouse guarding my chilli plants will be that fat soon. It seems to have another insect in its web every day.

George is clearly well fed and healthy, quite feisty too, he's obviously eating something

I'd rather he keep the population of whatever he's eating in check and maintain the status quo, so I've issued him with a temporary house visa.

I hope its not pregnant. Still, if the spider lings have no food they should hopefully eat each other, so the problem will resolve itself!

That's my logic anyway lol!
