New EKWB SE Radiator Range

From the EK website:

This shows a thinner profile radiator than their PE series which I haven't seen before.

Since the PE series is already 33mm I'm unsure what the SE Series will be, and I haven't seen them mentioned anywhere... But from what I can dig up it's due for release later this month....

PE are ~40mm thick actually. As far as the SE goes, I have a sample on the way so I will know soon.

I just wish they'd use the same design for the 140mm options. Both 120 and 180mm rads from them have the same new square style and the 140mm are left hanging.

They have a new lineup for 140mm coming out soon (CE series) with the same style.

Personally I am not a big fan of this but I can see why others prefer it.

Wild guess...

SE = Slim edition = 30mm
PE = Performance edition = 45mm
XE = Xtreme edition = 60mm

Ahhh, how soon is soon? 30,45 or 60mm thick?

Edit: just found it myself. 45mm. Mid to end if July.

Yeah. SE rads next up followed by 140mm Vardar fans and the CE rads.

The CE 140mm rad will be 45mm only for the moment but might see other thickness someday

VSG did a great review of the XE480 recently and will do the one for the CE soon too

Aye and there's a couple more coming in this year. They seem to be all high airflow optimized though. It would have been cool to see one paired with a 15mm thick Silverstone fan for a slim watercooled HTPC or similar. Still double I think.
