New pc build 1000 to 1200

Hi,

I am looking to build a pc roughly around the 1000 to 1200 mark.
I have an operating system and a monitor so will only require the main tower.

I love the look of the corsair air 540 case and would preferably like an i7 which is capable of being overclocked. Will use the pc for general use and media along with the capability of playing new games.

Thanks Stulid that looks good, is this considerably better than the 290x which is currently out for £209? If I took out the reliance on the 540 case and the i7 - would you change anything?
 
I'd swap out the GTX970 for the 290X currently on offer for £229 - £60 is a good saving on a card that trades blows all day long with the GTX970

I also think you could save on the power supply - the 850w unit above is a great power supply, but you do not need 850w unless going SLI / Xfire with the GPUs in the future.

In fact this is what I'd get. Bigger SSD, a decent AIO that's in stock and a 290X.

NZXT H440 case in red+black.

Thats about it to be honest.
