Words fail me

Its a Darwin thing I think.

Mother is thick to have a gun around toddler, but said toddler is her off spring. Therefore if she that thick to have gun around, imagine if said toddle became an adult???

On a serious note, its bad but guns and people don't mix, they are designed that way!! You know they kill people! :(

<Cue story of toddler scalding herself to death>

Kettles, Kettles Kettles - we just need more of them [/QUOTE]

This isn't a story about Guns, It is a story about household dangers add how households manage them (or how they fail to do so)

Purely the parents fault.
Same argument for games and the like, kid plays video games, gets violet, GAMES FAULT OMG BAN ALL GAMES. No its the parents.

It's not necessarily about guns, more about how incredibly stupid people are with them and how they treat them.

Exactly, you need to have a respect for these things, and perhaps not leave a lethal weapon in reach of a child.

Questions to be asked, depending on the type of saftey, was it engaged? why was a round chambered?

Careless mother at the end of the day.

Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

And yet here you are, the very antithesis to your own theory.

Anyway on topic. There is nothing wrong with guns or using them and i intend in due course later this year to put in for my Firearms Cert.

The problem is all these deaths are in a country which is too liberal with guns to the point of you can leave them anywhere in your home and its ok, hence kids finding them and shooting themselves or someone else.

Here they have to be locked up securely out the obvious view of everyone and only get taken out when being used and surprise surprise you see very little to no incidents like this in the UK
