Hey all.
I'm 6'3" and every comfy chair is somewhat ruined by having a head cushion that stops halfway up my neck.

I recently found this whilst in Ikea:
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20103101/#/30261152
It is the only chair I have come accross of suitable height.
I liked the mesh as it means I'd keep cool but it really wasn't that comfy.

I currently have the Staples Microfibre chair that everyone raves about.
It is OK with regards to getting hot - Not the best but not as sweaty as fake leather (erugh).

What do fellow tall desktop users recommend?

If you're open to suggestions I suggest you read the literally hundreds of threads which consider this exact question.

Do you also need help with your TV licence, cyclists' need for tax/insurance or anything related to immigrants?

To CONTINUE choose YES / NO ...

1) 6'3" is pretty common and most chairs sort of accommodate it
2) buy a sofa and a laptop
3) all hail magnolia
4) all hail magnolia
5) all hail magnolia

Washington, Washington, Six foot eight, weighs a ****ing ton.
Opponets Beware,
Opponets Beware,

He's coming, He's coming, He's coming.

Let me lay it on the line, he had two on the vine.
I mean, two sets of testicles, so devine.

Im 6' 6" and sit at the top of the food chain.

do you eat desk chairs on a day to day basis? :p

6ft 3 and use a Markus. No complaints with it apart from theres bugger all padding left (has a nice imprint of my arse though!) Back support and headrest is fine. Getting to the end of its usable life though so will need to make a spec me topic soon :D

Markus.. every time I'm in Ikea with the wife I sit on it, marvel at it and then never buy it. I do like my little chair I have, but it lacks shoulder support..

*sigh* maybe one day :(

I recommend the Steelcase Leap. I bought it from ebay they are cheap on there now for 2nd hand. Will buy a new one when this one eventually but they cost a lot £500-700. I am 6'2 and the chair seems fine. My previous chair was the staples microfibre chair and i ended up disliking that chair a lot and it messed up up my posture. It is a completely different chair because the staples one you can sit back in and rest your head, while the leap you are forced to sit upright all the time as there is no neck support at all. It is possible to slide down a bit and rest your head but you end up sitting up right all the time.

And none of them answered the exact question which has been asked so many times before? You sure?
