Most life changing event for you this year?

Moving out of my lovely but tiny one bed flat, into a 3 bed flat (God bless house price increases) so I can finally start realising my dream to become a foster carer :)

So, your one bed flat increased in price more than the 3 bed flat? Generally house price increases make it harder to move up, not easier. House price increases benefit very few other than banks.

And sorry for my JSA scum thing, I did 2 courses and a lot of the other 'students' had been on JSA for 4+ years.. That's what I'm talking about. If it wasn't for JSA my life could have gone horrifically bad, so in a way it truly saved my life. So no way am I knocking it and the genuine people that need to use it, only the abusers which I have met too many unfortunately

I understood where you were coming from and could understand your frustrations at 'the Jeremy Kyle' lot. :)

If he's moving from a one bed flat in London, a 3 bed flat somewhere else in the country would be tippence. Only if the flat is in London, else I agree with you

started noticing the warning signs for my depression, and for the first time instead of just letting it get worse and worse, talked about it, started doing things to head it off and for the first time i have successfully avoided a depressive patch D:

i think this is the turning point where its no longer accepting ill have ups and downs but knowing i can tackle it before it becomes a problem and be sorted for good.

I've made 45k in profit on my flat in 3 years. I got it very cheap and have sold it for more than I thought I'd get. Meaning I've been able to buy somewhere much bigger :)

Getting engaged, finding out I'm moving to a different job in a busier, much, much better area, and hopefully buying a house in the next couple of weeks.

:edit: getting engaged is probably the biggest of those :p

This year, so far, there have been no life changing events that I can think of. But I have continued a programme of self improvement that I started last year; continuing to get fit, improve my sense of dress style and a lot of personal development. It is reaping a lot of benefit so far.

Not life changing really, just quite a test of nerves I guess. I ballsed up a uni exam inasmuch as I planned a holiday to France which clashed with it, so I ended up travelling from a tiny village in the Loire Valley to Le Mans then to Paris to take it at the British Council instead of sitting it in Portsmouth.

Quite enjoyed it actually :o

Will have my first proper job since finishing University starting in September. I can't wait!

And with that, renting my first flat to myself.
