*** The Official E3 2015 Thread ***

Whatever.

  • Largest games catalogue (does that mean all Xbox 360 titles are available? Over 100 titles this Holiday, so I guess not all?).
  • Digital games will 'automatically' be added.
  • Retail discs will work.
  • 'The game runs exactly like it runs on Xbox 360'... so no improvements there, there is mention of multiplayer with Xbox 360 gamers and features including; Screenshots, Broadcasting, Game DVR?, Game Streaming.
  • 'Apparently' little effort from developers.

It was in the speech. "They will be enhanced to take advantage of the power of the X1".

So no, they literally (Richard) did not say this.

The secondhand game shops will have a MASSIVE boost in sales, good time to be in the business.

Interesting given there are quite a few 'updated' versions of games being announced too, when the original will work on Xbox One for cheaper.

You forgot the "but better thanks to Xbox Live" bit.

Higher resolution methinks.

No , it is announced what new features Xbox Live brings which are the things I listed; Screenshots, Broadcasting, Game DVR?, Game Streaming and online gaming with Xbox 360.

Backwards compatibility is pretty cool. Fancy playing some of the older cods and still have old games I never got round to selling worth £s now. Plus some of the games with gold I couldn't be bothered to hook up xbox 360 to play through.
