I was quite impressed playing with the rockstar editor ingame but the final rendered video gets compressed a lot. Anyone played with it?

The most fun I've had in a while on GTAV. Considering how bad I was playing up until that point I'm chuffed with my clutch save :p P's and Q's FTW!

By the way I've found out that you can set 'Eat Snack' to your action function to eat snacks quickly!

This needs to be shared! I'm going to have a look into macroing the functions tonight.
 
Hold caps lock or click both sticks in to do an action without even going into the menu :D If you're not in cover it needs to play the animation through to get all the health back... in cover or in a car it does it instantly.
 
You can't shortcut armour options sadly, but as mentioned eating actions can be assigned. Very finicky that Interaction's menu is. Can't see the point of cigarette's either because they don't really benefit you in any way.

If you consume snacks whilst in a vehicle via the interactions menu then it instantly replenishes health. Outside of vehicles, there is an animation your character goes through before health is replenished.
 
They make you 30% cooler? The beer is pointless too :P that will only make things worse!

Had a google search and they say not to bother with body armor and just stock up on snacks... the armor only sponges 3 bullets or so.
 
eating snacks on the action is a life saver.

I set up a macro to apply armor, however it was a nightmare. If you use it and you click your mouse or use the scroll wheel, the menu changes from the set macro setting. So you can't fight as well as put on the armor, you have to stop and wait for it to be applied. Also if you interupt it and cancel out of the menu becuase you are being shot at, when the macro finishes the M key is used to close the menu and that opens it and you are again stuck.
 
just bagged me some hacker cash, gutted as I didnt do it on purpose, been trying for ages to stay well clear of it. Accidentally walked into some in todays session, had 2 or 3 hackers in and they were running rounds dropping it on people.

Oh well, lets hope its ok.

You should be OK

If Reddit is to be believed and the link they have posted about the new anti cheat files. Balances will be adjusted automatically on a per gamer tag id.

You will also be advised of the fact.

However it has yet to be seen if this is actually live and working,
 
I spent far to long last night after everyone left modding cars... they're very pretty now :p I need to unlock the performance upgrades for them though... I gather that is done by winning races? That's never going to happen :(

I'll be on later for some fun.

yeah it is pathetic what R* is doing.

Not think they have milked enough money from us already.... It is not like they are using any of their millions to improve the MP experience either, still takes ****ing forever to load and they have had how long to fix/improve this?!

And shame on whoever buys those shark cards!

There are a few short tracks now which people are taking it in turn to win races now. I've done it a little bit yesterday with someone from OcUK crew and 2 other guys taking it in turn to win races. I've still got a hell of a lot more to win yet though (i'm 2 wins off unlocking the 40% engine upgrade).

I will never win the required amount of races to get the upgrades as I truly suck when it comes to competing. LOL

Yep.

I have no idea why people would by them. You can only drive one vehicle at one time and everything else is just moot.

I now have 4 million saved from grinding and still have not bought anything other than apartments and a car.... LOL

Rather than protecting the GTAO economy they should spend some of there billions on a dedicated server solution and do away with this awful P2P network.

I have no faith in GTAO other than invite sessions and solo. However I have not been in an invite session..

Free roam is too broken ATM for me to return.
