. I was watching on TV but heading off on holiday. Managed to watch the last 15 minutes in the world longest queue at the EasyJet bag drop desk in Gatwick

You know what, I hope he sticks his fingers up to F1 and joins WEC full time from next year.

I hope a lot of the GP2 graduates who have failed to find a spare slot in F1 do the same. Mitch Evans has already said WEC/Sports Cars are now a higher priority for him than F1. The prototype classes have a lot of similarities to single seaters, and the fitness levels of modern top flight single seater racers is top notch.
