Tiny PCB, single 6 pin and air / blower cooler. That's the reference AMD 370.

That is not a single 6-pin, its the bios switch. Also they showed the fiji gpu with HBM before the card which points it to being an aircooled Fiji reference card (Fury Pro or XT). So not a 370 for sure.

This thread will implode if their announcement does not deliver.

However I do feel that they will come through and showcase all the variants due to the speculation by everybody.

I wonder if Nvidia releasing the Ti was a knee jerk reaction to what is coming.

Looking at a benchmark for Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980Ti, It would seem that they have buried the TX. Just seems strange to me that they did it so soon before the big AMD announcement

I don't know why I'm posting this, probably just another clickbait site with false info. But here is pricing that apparently differs from previous rumours. According to this, the 390x should be ~£300 (inc VAT ex UK-price-gouging). I'll only buy one if the performance is significantly better than the 970 at 1080p in games like GTAV and Crysis 3.

Interesting that it notes the lower segments (r7 etc) will do well out of this release. Not my market of course but might be good for growth.

I don't think it was anything to do with AMD's cards. The sooner they got the ti out the more people would buy it instead of waiting for next years die shrink where the big increases will be.

You can clearly see its a single 6-pin, and it is the 370.

I hope this is Fud, from, well Fud. :p

We will see the card debut on June 16th at an AMD gaming event, but most of the information will come on the 18th. We expect to see first reviews before June 25th as people usually need a few days to test these cards.

Was posted on the 10th.

I agree but i could also be to remove a significant amount of potential buyers with money to burn for new cards.

I don't know how many bought the TI that could have been AMD customers for the fury if it turns out to be awesome.

It being over 14 days since release means that those who did buy it on or near to release are now stuck with them and buyers remorse may well set in sooner rather than later. Not all mind you.

I really hope the fury is everything the positive speculation says it is.

Guys the Best Buy price for a 390X is $450 with suspected heavy gouging.

That works out to £357 with VAT. $400 = £256 + VAT = £300.

'bout tree-fiddy is probably what you can expect the gouge price to be until they figure out how dumb trying to gouge on a low-demand item is.
