Decent car phone holders

Cheers all... I have bought a cheap £2.99 one for the time to see if bluetooth works!

Only thing is i dont have phyical music on my phone as i use spotify, would i still be able to use the bluetooth (if it ofc has it).

The bluetooth works in more or less the same way as using the 3.5mm jack would do, it'll play whatever is being outputted by the phone in most cases.

I use TuneIn and Google Play Music with mine, both downloaded and streamed.

Actually, if it's properly utilizing A2DP it may well be possible to control track prev/next, rw/ff, pause/play from the car, making a mount utterly pointless beyond being a thief magnet. Most even pull back track tag information to show on the display.

It's far above and beyond connecting with 3.5mm jack, that's more akin to those 3rd party bluetooth receivers.

This is my Brodit mount, however I mainly have it as a place to keep my phone while charging and because I use my phone as a SatNav.

Delivery took a week or so, but I'm really happy with it

I use it for sat nav, using google maps. It's a really good sat nav now and no way I was paying £1700 to add it to my golf.

Same for me, I couldn't justify the £500 they wanted to add it to my A3 when I already had two satnavs.

I can't use air vent mounts in my car though as Audi don't like normal vents.

I have this mounted on the face of my dashboard, little magnet on back of the phone and works perfectly. I use the magnet on the phone all the time too, helps when working in a server room as I can stick it to the rack.

They look cool.

Just found a place on ebay selling genuine ones for £11. Bought two - one mount each for the Westfield and Scorpio and tablet + phone.
