Whats happened to Vapour-X Cooler

I'd rather not be quoted on this but I think Vapor-X was released a bit down the line, Tri-X was made available sooner after launch.

The Vapor-X cards usually come later. Sapphire still seem to have a load of 290X Vapor-Xs to get rid of too. OCUK might be out of them, but other retailers seem to have a ton of them in stock and more on the way. It's an awesome cooler though. It's almost unbelievable how cool it keeps Hawaii whilst remaining extremely quiet. Pity the one I had was attached to a duff card that had the desktop black screen issue.

The Vapor X cards are very up market and I am absolutely positive that we will see it used on AMDs 300 series at some point.

It won't be a cheap option but it will be well worth it.:)

Vapour x was also a custom pcb extended in height and had a heat sink around the top of the card. Tri-x was a reference board.

The PCS+ in its 290-series iteration was effective but not quiet by any means; the 390-version looks very different and I thought the fans on that one look tiny.

For time being the Tri-X would be my pick for silence... The fans are with ball-bearings now, similarly to 290's New Editions and Vapor-X, adding to their expected lifespan when mounted horizontally.
