Sneak peak here:

If I was that guy I would have broke the zip from doing it too fast and bsod it in 30 seconds.

Enjoyed the first episode of this, looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Oh and "Panties down!" lol :D

Oh and "Panties down!" lol :D

I snort when that bloke walked in and said that.

Definitely got potential, first Channel 4 show (apart from Sit-Coms) for me that I am really interested in.

A side track here: Both the parents are redheads, i.e. recessive trait gene, why are all their kids not redheads? AFAIK, it works as a pair of recessive genes to get the distinctive trait, so unless gene mutation, I can't see (with my limited A-Level Biology knowledge) how they can have not 1, not 2 but 3 kids that are not redheads, it's statistically unlikely!

/food for thought

edit: Looks like I might be wrong. Little girl is redhead. Still, 2 kids that might not be his / hers?

I really enjoyed this. The kind of more thoughtful and meaningful SF story that you often find in books, but rarely on the screen. I love stories that question what defines humanity, and what happens when the distinction between people and the machines made in our image become meaningless. Are you alive and sentient if you think you are? If other people think you are a person and treat you as such, does that make it so?

The actors are great, and I love the little things that make you wonder when the mask will slip and what will happen when the androids hiding in plain site are revealed to be more alive than they are supposed to be. Clever, thoughtful, and just the right amount of creepy.

reminds me of a film.
is it blade runner with a modern twist

Really makes you appreciate the effects of LSD and magic mushroom on a writers creativity.

Most the epic scifi ideas came around in the 60s and 70s right? they are just being reused over and over again with slight changes

Decent first episode, I like the concept but it still has that 'cheap' feel to it that so much British drama does. There's no real style to how it's shot or anything.

The main couple (whoever he is and Jen from The IT Crowd) give performances that were more robotic than the actual robots, so hopefully it's not focused on them for the entire series. Zero on-screen chemistry and some terrible dialogue too.

Perhaps a mod can move this out of the US sub-forum given it's not a US show?

All good so far.

It's not dependent on a single gene there are 5 we know of for sure and 1 major one we suspect.
