It's easy to get teams together now, just search on any "DestinyLFG" website.
They will probably never add matchmaking for raids, it just wouldn't work, there'd be way too many problems when trying to co-ordinate with complete randoms who probably won't even be using a mic or have enough time to stay til the end.
When a new expansion comes out, most people probably won't have time for doing the old content for a while anyway.
Best time to experience the content is in the present!

Not sure if that's worth £40 though.
Destiny feels like some kind of experiment by Activision, to see if they can change gamer's perceptions of how much they are willing to pay for how much content they get.
If you play the game 24/7 then it's probably worth, but still doesn't change the fact that the amount of content you get for your $$$ is much worse compared to PC gaming.
Also its only a single 'expansion' a few months later another one will come out to be purchased. Considering TTK doesnt look like it has new enemies or a new planet I cant see any DLC linked to Destiny ever doing that in the future.
Im likely to save my £40 and stick it on Destiny 2 in a few years time

Good value is subjective, different for everyone!
I feel like I've had good value from Destiny. What is 'content' though? I paid 125 quid to back ED and all I got was this billion star system galaxy full of bugger all.
I like this episodic way of delivering games. Keeps it fresh. If everything to date had been launched on day 1 there's no way I'd still be playing it now.

New planet is Phobos, and new enemies are The Taken which are corrupted versions of the other darkness races with different abilities etc. Good enough for me.

The cost for that upcoming Destiny expansion, with all existing expansion packs and the original game, seems pretty low in the US.
Hoping we don't get shafted in the UK, as I wouldn't mind buying a PS4 and playing through the expansions when it comes out!

Someones pointed out that its cheaper to buy the physical Legendary edition from the US (its $60 and includes the main game and the 3 DLCs) than it is to buy tTK separately in the UK (its £40 digitally).

Definitely story, I guess at least one of the 'bunch of new strikes'. The raid looks like it'll be on Oryx's ship.
They've also changed/added stuff to patrols and public events.
I made a discovery last night looking at my Grimoire: I have the Gjallarhorn grimoire card.
Does that imply I received one and dismantled it at the start of the game? I know you can accrue certain grimoire from proximity to someone else who has them (for example I had several hundred PvP kills as a titan, despite never having had a titan character until a few weeks ago). But I remember receiving my SUROS card when I picked up my first one of those a couple of months back, and definitely had played a lot of games alongside SUROS-users.

That's a bit pricier than I was hoping - $59 vs £55.
I'm guessing that means the Collector's Edition will be £75. Sad thing is, I'll probably stump over the cash

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but is there a way to buy The Taken King on its own and still receive all the new emotes, class items, emblems etc, and all the other cool new stuff without purchasing the game plus expansions again? Not too fussed about the physical items like the strange coin and stuff, but I'd like all the ingame goodies!
