I'm due to upgrade my phone from tomorrow via Three. But I cannot decide which phone to go for!

Whilst Three don't have the Nexus 6 available, it means buying it outright. However, I quite like the look of the LG G4 and I already have an S4, so you would think going straight to an S6/Edge would be simple. But nope!

So please, tell me which phone I should go for and why. I do take a lot of pics and watch the odd video here and there. I use my phone mainly for playing music and I certainly don't mind having stock android if it comes to that. Since I do have a Nexus 7 (2013).

Someone just help me, please! Lol. Thanks! :)

The s6 is a better phone no doubt, but the G4 does have several advantages.

Depends on your own personal needs. Do you need a removable battery for instance?

Galaxy S6 is the better all round phone but LG G4 is a good fit for users who want a larger display, sdcard slot and removable battery. Whether you go for the Edge or not is up-to you, I don't see the point but others may think differently.

Not sure why you're considering the Nexus 6.

Ive been fortunate to own them all (not the edge) and they all have their pros and cons really

depends whats more important to you?

battery, camera, software updates, size, resale value, speed, memory expansion

for what its worth, im sending my G4 back and going back to a Sony Z3, I think it has the best compromise of the above mentioned.

S6/G4 definitely has the better camera and fastest phones

Nexus 6 for Stock Android and has option of rooting an using custom roms very easily which can make it an even more awesome phone with custom kernels etc

G4 for memory expansion

Thanks guys. Yeah I should have said at the beginning that I am looking for removable battery and SD card slot. So it looks like the G4 is the best bet for me. I'd happily stay with Samsung if they did include removable battery and SD card slot. As I said I do play a lot of music and like to have it downloaded to my phone so an SD card would be ideal.

Guess it's the LG G4 then! :)

Note 4 is still very good phone, not sure I would take one over a LG G4.

LG G4 camera is better in low light, however the audio recording quality is horrible.

Note 4 is very nice.

However, it will be replaced with the 5 very soon and it is just that little too big if you ask me.

too big compared to what phone mate?

tbh id have a Note 4 over a G4

battery better on the Note 4 but tbf different gen phone

G4 has some horrible lag which no reviewers care to talk about, its very annoying

Well I think I might go for the LG G4. It just seems more my "bag" if you know what I mean. I've seen someone with the Note 4 and it does look great but something about the G4...not sure what. I will have to get it and see. Thanks all! :)

G4 is a decent all rounder.

Note 4 is a so called phablet. Halfway between a phone and a tablet. Always think people look a bit daft making a call on one :p

But tbh how many time you spend calling?
More likely internet/apps using so bigger screen=winner for me.
Wife has 640XL and loves it and originally She was so against big screens (laughing now from my S4 :P)

Yeh, a bigger screen is certainly nice considering what these things get used for. Just feel that some of them are getting a little too large for pocket friendliness now.

You pays your money you take your choice I guess.

Cloud storage is fairly cheap depending on what you need the space for?

For example even though my Nexus 4 is 16GB, ive got all my music available to stream on Play Music (FOC) and then all my photos available to view on Google Photos (FOC) and then I pay around £2 a month for 100GB of Drive space (and neither Photos nor Music have counted towards my space in there).

Only assumption is you have signal/WiFi. But then you've still got xGB local is you need stuff all the time.
