Removing my brother from the wifi of an evening.

His mic is soooo sensitive you can hear people who are talking in the hall way on his mic! He does shout, really really loud. He gets to excited when he's playing...:rolleyes:

If your parents want to go to bed then they should tell him to get off skype and take it away from him if necessary. I don't care how old children are. If they still live with their parents then it's their parents rules.

This. Get him told about it, or start blocking his devices at certain times.

Are people still living at home with there parents, I left home at 17 :p

Some moved back due to high rents. You also didn't read the dating thread when one guy went out with a 30 year old woman who still lives with her parents?

Then I heard a few nights ago on the news some guy, late 20s early 30s? Not sure but he's letting out his flat while moved back into his parents house.

I can not condone the use of an Android app called WifiKill.

Especially in public places like coffee shops when a group of people are sat around a laptop, using Skype very loudly to hold sensitive business negotiations there.

;)

The countries gone soft, leaving home is the best thing you can ever do and the thought of ever going back just seems wrong, everyone at some point in their lives will struggle or need a little help financially but moving back home I just couldn't do it. But I guess people prefer to live the easy safe way, people will want wrapping up in bubble wrap soon to protect them from the dangers :p

Next door to me is also a girl in maybe her late thirties still living at home with her mammy and daddy, pathetic and embarrassing really :D :o

Firewall access list policies or WiFi policies

I used to deny traffic to the internet from one of my ex housemates machines when he used to mess around at 3am on a weekday evening whilst everyone else was sleeping to get up for work

If he's not computer savvy you could just change his Skype port settings to a random unused port and then just block that port on the router.

Could be worse, what has happened next door to me. Man and wife in their early 50s who has lived there for god knows how long. His brother who looks mid 40s has moved in with them with his girlfriend. He's a bit of a hippy.

The place is fast becoming looking like something out of The Burbs. The postman had to leave a parcel at their backdoor where one can see most of the inside of the house. Putting it delicately, the way they live the house/garden is extremely manky. The place is bordering onto becoming a hostel. The postman said he has never seen such a (insert colourful words) manky place/individuals.

The owners parents used to come up to do their garden for them. Who are the complete opposite of the family. They used to do it for 15 years or so. They're in their 80s now. Think they gave up with it because of the type of people they have become. Place has become a wilderness.
