I am currently on a Tesco mobile rolling contract that gets be 750 minutes, texts and 2gb of data for £14.

Ive just noticed that Three are doing 300 minutes, texts and all you can eat data for £15.00. I think this still includes 4G and Feel at Home.

...I can't see any downsounds unless I've missed something?

Nope. No downsides.

Been on PAYG with three for a long time with that £15 deal. In fact on my sim card I get 500 minutes instead, but I have had this for an age.

There is a cap on the all you can eat, but that sits at 80gb. Managed to get 60gb one month.

I'm on the one sim only contract with 3. £15 a month, unlimited texts and 4g data and I think 200 minutes. It's fantastic where I live and honestly I've never had trouble with signal and I do a fair bit of traveling with work.

Your Tesco tariff seems too expensive. I got my mum a sim. It's got 1000 mins, unlimited texts and a gig of data for a tenner. 30 day rolling contract.

This sim only deal / addon is awesome...
I just need a phone that has 4g.

I use this. Infact I only buy the add on in months I know I'll have high usage or if I'm going abroad (feel at home is brilliant) - the rest of the time their 3/2/1 tariff (1p a megabyte!) is very competitive and I end up spending much less than £15.

I've seen rumours that they're going to be removing the £15 bundle in the near future but nothing concrete as of yet.

I pay £12.90 for 200 minutes, 5000 texts and ALL YOU CAN EAT data with 3, I asked them today whether I could upgrade to 4G, would go to £17 a month which I think is awesome! Just need a 4G compatible phone now...

 there are no separate 4g plans with three.

Upgrade your phone and you'll get 4g at no extra cost. No idea where you're getting this price increase from. Probably some sales person wanting commission.

It did baffle me a little bit I must admit, I forgot to question it! He mentioned something about "because it's an old plan"

It doesn't matter, they didn't create new plans when they rolled out 4g. They just gave it to everyone.
You might need a new sim card, but shouldn't need a new contract.

From what I can see, in general 3 provide the best deals out of the major phone operators, especially in terms of data limits. OP, your Tesco tariff does seem a little bit expensive. I'd probably think of switching.
