Purple paint flecks... It also sounded like it needed a serious timing chain adjustment!

I'm sitting next to a black X6 with black wheels, a personalised numberplate with incorrect spacing (C14Y R L) and an "M" badge on the boot.

It is the most atrocious thing I've seen for a while. I almost want to be sick...

No pictures as I don't want them to think I like it...

Got to drive this round brands hatch today. Thoroughly enjoyed it!! I was really surprised that they encourage you to drive it as fast as you can. I was expecting to crawl round with an instructor yelling in my ear.

Drove a Ferrari 360 after as well which was really good fun and very tail happy.

Which experience day did you do?

No pics unfortunately - the Mrs point blank refused to take any :( but was behind a C63 AMG coming back from a family trip out yesterday admiring the noise as it pulled way from junctions / lights when a clapped out Vectra pulled along side it at a red light. it was a rust bucket but must have been fast given the drainpipe of an exhaust it had ;)

Laughed so hard as it revved like mad, then pulled away - the Merc driver sat and gave him a few car lengths head start then floored it :D the double take and almost visible mouthing of WTF by the Vectra driver was priceless.

The journey was made even better a few minutes later by an F50 followed by an F40 coming the other way on the dual carriageway :)

Quite common around london with narrow residential streets and an overload of cars

Used to be those bays and double yellows, which makes sense. There's now a CPZ in force and the doubles got changed to single yellows, so there's some parts you can park half on half off, and others where you have to park on the road because you can't have two wheels on the pavement on a single yellow.

Not that any of the retards near me can work that out, but never mind. Every night there's arguing and constant beeping because x parked across y's driveway, you need a £65 permit to park in the bays which are only restricted from 11am-12pm Mon-Fri. It's the worst of both worlds, you pay for a permit that doesn't really protect your space and people can still park across your drive when you go out.

why does that street have so many parking problems when everybody appears to have off street parking ?

Most problems are caused when a single house has multiple visitors (like in the above pic) or houses that are let out and have about 5-6 people in. 'Beds in sheds' are a big problem around here and they park their cars on the road too.
