Used to go to a cafe (greasy spoon type) where the ladies serving wore blue plastic gloves - saw one go (and return) from the toilet wearing her blue gloves once :D

Still ate there.

I wash my hands. Then again, working in an NHS centre for a year kind of gets you used to it.. Also use Alcohol gel all the time, as well.

Dont even pretend there is an excuse for not washing your hands after you use the loo.

Wash your hands you dirty *******s.

How about simple laziness and defeating the point.

While I'm at my pc at home I constantly do things like scratch my balls, nose, etc.

Tbh, I highly doubt excessive cleanliness is very good for your immune system, you didn't see humans always washing their hands in the old days after taking a **** do you ?

Wash hands when they feel dirty, which his about every other hour anyhow. Or when you've touched something many people touched like in public, or when dealing with food. Otherwise, I don't think it's necessary at all when I only touched my excalibur .

Yes, of all the places and things your hands touch, the amount of bacteria and germ you can not see is remarkable... good personal hygiene is a must and anyone who neglects that is disgusting!

Yes annoying in the pub/restaurant etc, when you are in the khazi having a jimmy and then people just walk out without washing their hands, therefore their hands have touched their genitals then walked out touching the door handle, I ****** hate it tbh.

Clean yourself you lazy ********!!

Ah yes, the good old days, when people lived to the ripe old age of 30. :p

haha ^

Back in the day they also used to throw their excrement from upper building windows, into the road/gutter, that's why on very old buildings in high streets etc are curved over at the top so they can avoid hitting the pedestrians below, I'm sure a few got a bit more than they bargained for sometimes though, so cleaning back must have been vast, and it wouldn't just of been your hands!

And excessive cleanliness not good for your immune system?! what utter nonsense.

Well, why does the amount of allergies like eczema, asthma and stuff grow then ?

For example :

My issue is not with the penis or vagina...It's the loo handle and door knobs...

Someone could have wiped ...finger gone through...then flushed the loo handle with a poo hand..

One could have had a flawless wee...but becomes contaminated my another's poo whilst flushing

A poo hand lol, fecal matter is everywhere! In places you wouldn't believe, There are many studies out there that show you this.

Of course a certain level of hygiene should be maintained but imo many people are way ott with regards to washing their hands, on and top of that I honestly find it illogical because usually within seconds they are 'contaminated' again anyway.

It's fine to have an opinion, personally I'm going to go with the expert advice though. Which is to Wash regularly and thoroughly.

Washing your hands properly is one of the most important things you can do to help prevent and control the spread of many illnesses. Good hand hygiene will reduce the risk of things like flu, food poisoning and healthcare associated infections being passed from person to person.

the importance of hand hygiene

Pretty much never wash my hands. Whats the point? Everywhere is covered in germs anyway there's no point fooling yourself into thinking you can avoid them. If I worked in a food/medical environment it'd be different, but otherwise I'll trust in 600 million years of adaptive immunity evolution :)
