It's odd how people who think they are professional business advisors and 'qualified' to dispense advice are unable to do it in a professional business-like manner.

The appropriate way to answer the question may have been: I'd recommend x or y vehicle for what you want to do, however you may find that other methods of advertising such as x may yield better results". Instead we get this crap that rubs people up the wrong way and leads to the situation we now have.

Will it just be a blur in the daily commute?

Maybe to some i'm hoping the combination of all the other forms of marketing I do just get's the brand into peoples psyche - people tend to feel comfortable with brands they know.

Is your takeaway an empire / chain? "Brands I know" include BMW, Mercedes, Proctor & Gamble, Coca-Cola etc., not some tiny takeaway down the road whose owner drives around in a car with their logo on it.

Yeah I often start a thread on here thinking I may get some decent answers (and you do there are some great people on here), but then you get these so called experts.

Any decent restaurant/takeaway should market themselves in that area and be known to most people - otherwise you're doing a pretty bad job imo. I'm not looking to take over the country with everyone knowing the name of my takeaway but I am looking to get into the minds of local people and constantly remind them we're here.

Regardless, I thinking of buying a car for myself (none of those stated) and stick some window stickers on by the answers on here. Might look into buying some trailer with a sign on and leave it parked in strategical places when I go out and do some leafleting.

Fine if you're insisting on doing the car thing then choose whatever car but make sure you make it stand out.

I'd go for something on the roof like a Hindu God or whatever.
