What is this world coming to!!

I can see the US gun lobby having a field day with this. You don't need guns to commit murder etc etc.
 
People seem to becoming more crazy by the day. :(

That plane crash with nutter co pilot, the other nutter in church and now this.

Something is seriously wrong. Its like madness is taking over the world. :confused:

I know there has always been crazies, but its like they everywhere now! :mad:

I think its partly due to the increase in media coverage - these kind of people want the world to see when they flip out so higher level of coverage = more likely to do it.

I think a lot of people have been under increased stress lately as well just trying to live a normal life - economy, unemployment and/or job security, rising costs/rent, etc., dealing with **** bosses and/or companies that treat their staff poorly, etc. (compounding other issues) and so on - its probably taking its toll on people who were already marginal cases at the best of times.

And they would be idiots. With a car and knife still only managed to kill three and only one further in critical condition. Perfect advert for why guns should be banned.

Mental people are mental.

Its more they are having a bad day - they probably blame society for their problems and want to make a statement/get their own back. Or trying to shock someone they blame for their problems (though often they kill them first).

If he was indeed bring treated for psychosis/ mental health issues as the link suggests I doubt he was thinking about how much media attention his actions got.

NHS definition - Psychosis is a mental health problem that causes people to perceive or interpret things differently from those around them. This might involve hallucinations or delusions.
 
In extreme cases yeah - some people can be so completely unconnected to "normal" its impossible to really understand.
