So if I wanted to liquid cool

Ah, nice. Out of curiosity, how much clearance do you have between the top of the res and the case? Would the 140 variant of the pump/res combo fit in there or does it have to be 100?

Just enough for access.Able to unscrew the top of the res and fill it directly from a standard 1L bottle of coolant, aswell as access the Speed dial with a screwdriver attachment for changing speeds.

A 140 should fit,but it will make filling and accessing the speed dial a PITA

How the hell did you get the res to sit properly? Trying to put mine in and with tubing it won't sit straight it sits on a slant, can't use the angled fitting as I get the same issue due to the mobo tray :/

Edit: I'm stupid, I can just turn the mounting bracket :o

Edit 2: http://i.imgur.com/c4njptC.jpg - I've got all three screws in and the res is sagging a fair bit, any ideas?

Mine sorta droops a little bit too and at a very slight angle due to the honeycomb meshs spaceing, you want to hand tighten the bolts as much as possible to reduce it tho.It is very secure tho :)

Im not sure what you mean with the angled fittings tho? Are they not rotary angled fittings?

Yeah sorted all that, put some zip tie around the res to get it upright and turned the bracket around as I was just being stupid. Right now I'm trying to unscrew the Gigabyte 980Ti screws to mount my block but Christ are these tight

Seems like I've stripped the screwhead trying to get the last bugger out because they are unbelievably tight

ohh dear  :(

Where you able to get it slightly un-tightened before striping the thread so you can try to carefully turn it with some pliers?

Stupid question - These fittings came with a bag of o-rings, do I need to put these around every fitting?

Yup an o-ring goes on every fitting and stop plug, its the O-rings that create a seal so your fittings dont leak

Did you manage to sort out your problem with the last GPU screw?

Going to get a 1mm drill bit tomorrow and see if I can get it out that way, continuing on with other parts ATM as Maplins is closed

that sucks,at least you can get everything else sorted for tomoz tho :)

^^I visit the same place sometimes for PC related stuff, they suprisingly have a lot of useful bits and bobs :p

Just the thread end going into another component.

Tubing just slides over the barbs and then you tighten the fittings collar to secure it :

Got it all sorted :)

Btw, the threads on my CPU block don't all seem to go in as far.. The provided guide suggests to screw them hand tight but the one in the top left corner doesn't seem to go as far as the others. Will that matter?

I assume you are talking about the Precise mounting kit?

They should all tighten to the same degree.Make sure you are tightening in a cross pattern to ensure equal downward pressure and a good mount.Un-tighten them all and start again, only takes a few seconds anyways :)

Edit:Also pics when your done and up and running!

Bit of issue with the graphics card, it died on me :( Sending it back to Caseking for refund and getting a new card from OcUK next week hopefully - Gotta wait for my refund to come through first :(

In the mean time I'm playing the old Batman games on my PS3!

As for the CPU block I did try reseating it but still having the screw problem, temps weren't bad for the brief period I had it up and running though
