I think most will be either dead or in nursing homes by now, only one younger teacher I can think of. Nowadays teachers go out drinking with the pupils, talk on facebook, well probably been like that for a few years.

I would t expect any teacher to go foe beers/talk on Facebook etc, just seems like a massive amount of trouble waiting to happen.

Yes, only my old English teacher through Facebook and Linkedin. He teaches in the Middle East now.

Suspect of first post... but, in here because I'm in the process of buying a house and my next door neighbour is my Primary 5 teacher! (would have made me about 10 years old I think for anyone not living in Scotland)

Apart from that, no, not kept in touch with any from school, but I have got some of my University lecturers on LinkedIn.

With the dawn of Facebook I managed to reconnect with a couple of my teachers from Singapore. One of whom actually came over to stay with us for a few days last year, show her the beauty of Yorkshire rather than the typical London / Manchester (Stadiums) trips most visitors from the Far East do.

My mum lives next to my old biology and head of year, thats about it really, seen my old miserably looking form tutor sometimes, i hated her

Would have loved to get to know my economics teacher's daughter. Mrs K herself, despite being 45+ at the time, was pure quality - her daughter was a stunner.

One exchange I recall:

Student (to friend): "I bet Mrs K is a total dirty minx in the sack, a real animal."
