Phone Spec assistance

Hi all,

I bought a second hand S2 for myself and soon after it arrived my wife broke her screen. Her birthday is coming up and im interesting in dropping around 100 quid (maybe 150?) on a phone. Now for this budget im either looking at some sort of chinese import or a second hand. What do you guys recommend?

I don't really know a lot about phones (compared to computers) in terms of what is good on the market right now per price.

help me please ocuk! :confused:

If She does not mind Windows phone I could recommend Microsoft Lumia 640 or either 640XL if you can stretch a little and She would not mind bigger screen. I know ppl will say apps sux etc ...but my wife using one, all the apps she need works fine. Phone (XL) last 2-3 days...and Shes very happy with it. And Windows 10 is coming and that phone will get update .
Android wise - used Galaxy S4 perhaps somewhere or new lower spec pick (so many of them ...Motorola Moto G (2nd generation, 2014) maybe?)

She would have a preference toward android I think as her last phone was an s2. Ill take a look at some second hand s4's are there any differences with s4 and mini other than size?

Yes, the s4 mini is terrible, slow, full of bloat, only 8gb of storage so most of that is full from Samsung, you can put an SD card in, but not all apps can move over. The nokia 640 would be much better than the s4 mini.
I had an s4 mini so speaking from experience.
 
Try looking at smartfonestore.com, they have some great deals on grade A, B, C phones. Have used them before and service is fantastic! At that budget a galaxy s4 is well within reach!
