Hello,
First of all I would like to say that I love buying from overclockers as the delivery and service are always excellent but I have ran into an issue.
I recently (less than a month ago) bought a DXRacer chair (OHMY0NO PU Black Leather Orange Flashes to be exact). I'm very happy with the general comfort and build quality but as I was setting up the arm rest I noticed that one of the arm rests was detachable. (Thought it was a normal feature). Wasn't aware that it was a faulty product. Yesterday, the faulty arm rest stopped working completely. Height could no longer be adjusted. So I gave Overclockers a call, although it took a while to connect, and the guy on the phone was very helpful and issued it to be shipped back immediately for inspection and replacement as they do not carry spare parts. He then proceeded to tell me that stock may take some time to arrive (maybe not at all for that model) as they get monthly shipments so he suggested a refund for the chair so I could buy another one to avoid being 'chairless' for too long. I agreed and am happy to follow that procedure but I forgot to tell him that the chair was on offer (£252.65 + 13.50 =266.15) and its no longer available. The only one on offer is model OH/MY55/CN on the website at the time of this post and I absolutely cannot stand the colour design. I have taken a liking to OH/MY08/NO which is not on offer but similar to the chair I have at the moment, the problem is that this one is at original price and would make a total of £274.90 + 16.20 = £291.10.
That is an extra 24.95 I would be paying. Can I request the base price of the chair to be reduced to £252.65 (making it £252.65 +£16.20) since I understand overclockers cannot provide a like for like replacement? I feel like it wouldn't be right to pay extra when the product is faulty.
Also note that I have back problems and work 5-8 hours (I cannot do without a chair for too long) a day on the chair and I have tried all manner of chairs. Only this DXracer maximum series, for some weird reason as I have tried more expensive chairs that did not work, has been able to stop my back pain during prolonged sitting sessions. Your feedback on this problem is appreciated.
Edit: Also what would you do if you were in my situation?
I also noticed after posting that this should be in peripheral section. Sorry xP
