Most unusual, Alfa have decided to start making cars now.

The Giulia, promised for summer 2012 has been unveiled, we get it next year.

I like the looks. They have essentially had 3 years to scrap a FWD design and make a RWD car. I' not sure how long a typical development cycle is these days, but it could be a rushed job. Some vague rumours they developed a RWD platform from Chrysler that was once a Mercedes.

Might take a look at these when they've depreciated a bit.

It looks like an Italian Jag XF?

Nowt wrong with that!

I think it looks menacing from all angles in the v8 version. More than the usual Jag/Maserati/Merc/Audi/BMW offerings anyway. The M4 is exempt as that looks a bit mad to be fair :D

I personally think it doesn't have the handsomeness of the 159. It is doing what Mercedes and BMW are doing and just having loads of swirls and lines all over their cars. It doesn't look pretty at all.

Also I can't unread "an car" :(

The potentially good thing about a car like this from Alfa is that it'll almost certainly shed massive amounts of value and become a nice second hand buy!

Reminds me more of a slightly jigged around 3 series if you look past the front grill. I like it especially the POWER! :)

I think it looks fab.

If they release it I will be an Alfa owner again - I loved my 147. I generally love Alfas - but they haven't got any decent RWD beasts that I want at the moment so this would tick that box nicely! :D

Uneven design of the lower front grille annoys me somehow. Also looks like it'd be a lot better looking debadged....

It's not ugly but I mean, Alfa have always been about that Italian style and design flair. This doesn't have any of that, at all, totally generic looking. Seems they have traded the style in for the power.
