I'm 6,6 with a 34 waist (so thin) and people often ask me whether I'm a model, but what ****es me off when they ask this question is what clothes do they think I'm going to model. So, once again, I need some new clothes (I don't like shopping) but getting annoyed that nothing will fit me. I understand due to the nature of this forum there may not be a lot of expertise in this area but I have faith in OcUK. I like Zara, Cos and Reiss but the everything is a couple of inches too short. I've had a search for tall people stuff but it's always the same, it's either for old people, it's super expensive or I just don't like the style. Does anyone know of some hidden gem where I can find those styles for tall people like myself?

Thanks

I'm 6'3' and Dad is 6'5' (and a half, he always adds that!) and neither of us have any trouble with clothes.

He did in the 1990s, but now clothes are fine, shoe sizes are fine etc.

Do you have particulary long legs?

Perhaps a silly question for a computer forum, but what gender do you identify yourself as? Actually can't work it out from your post, especially with your preference for those shops.

6'3" isn't particularly tall for the purposes of getting clothes, imo - completely ordinary sizing fits, most of the time. Then dads worry less about fashionable clothing :p.

not everyone whos 6"3 has the same long legs or wide thighs

some peoples torso is longer, other people have longer legs, some people have naturally wide shoulders etc

Depends on your body shape. I'm 6ft 1 T-shirts are always to short but trousers are easy to find I seem to have tree stump legs.

H&M are good for long but fitted clothing so is worth a looksie

What annoys me about clothes sizes is the size seems to scale more in width rather than height. XL seems to mean "fat" rather than "tall". With jeans you can specify leg length but for t-shirts it's pretty much one size fits all. If you're tall and thin you end up having to wear a tent, just to get something long enough in the body/arms.

I always struggle to find good clothing. I think there's a serious gap in the market at the moment. Maybe it's just me getting old but most of the clothing in high street shops is utter rubbish. Tops either have some hidious pattern all over them, are a terrible fit or just poor quality.

By fashion clothing you actually mean skinny fit (phag) jeans don't you? Nothanksjeff

These days I don't struggle most stores seem to have started catering for the taller man.

Unless your meaning things like skinny jeans and all that then good luck.
