Big monthly food shop... then.....

I buy my food on the day I'm going to eat it mostly.

Who enjoys waking up on a Sunday and thinking hmmm I'll buy a jacket potato and eat that on Thursday omnomnom.

All week looking forward to a ****ing baked potato.

I shop nearly every day, just a couple of things at a time. Only because I pass the shops and like my food fresh. When I shopped monthly I'd wast 25% or so and forget that stuff was going out of date.

I've had a long, tiring day. That last comment made me LOL hard. Thanks.

We do a big shop once a week at Aldi, and i work at Tesco so if we need any little bits during the week i pick those up after my shift.
Im a bodybuilder so live on meat and plain boring foods, Aldi works out tons cheaper for me

I used to until i realised my belly stopped growing and went in reverse when i started shopping every day or two and cooking properly.

The added benefit is the going out of date section has me eating fillet 2 or 3 times a week :)

Do the weekly shop and for Saturday we have a take away :D

That's what we do. Meals planned a week in advance so we know what we are eating and have everything in for it. I like to cook healthily so planning saves faffing about. Saturday night we either go out or order takeaway.

Plan properly then so you're eating something better than a baked potato! :p

Big shop are a waste to us most of it goes off. :(

We eat out a lot and just buy fresh as and when. ;)

No ready meals, no microwave etc.

I get loads of food in and then can't decide what to eat as there is too much choice so end up with a takeaway or cooking something easy to prepare.

We do a decent shop once a week and top up if needed. Probably eat takeaway food only once a month. Shopping is done with the weeks' menus in mind so there's a plan, and very little wastage.

Na, pretty much buy my food the day I need it. Live about 2 mins walk from an Aldi so I generally eat super healthy per day for about £5-7. Not had a takeaway in a while, normally save them for when I manage to see my girlfriend who lives oop north. Eat zero frozen or microwave food.

I am the same, I often don't know what I am going to have until I am back home. I normally decide on the way home.

It does mean sometimes I end up eating a fry egg on ramen, or sometimes mean a trip to the supermarket.

It might sound expensive but i find i don't waste any food, at all, thus not throwing money down the bin with food that I bought but not eaten.
