Apparently another car dropped both it's halfshafts just in front of the finish line too.

Going tomorrow, never been before! What time does traffic get really bad in the morning on entry? Looking at getting there at around 9 now, which I gather is fairly late

Last year I got there 30mins before the gates opened (6:30 I think) and queued for about an hour to get in.

As much as I doubt it I hope there's more "car" people there this year. It seems like 2/3 of the people there last year were "event" people i.e. there just to say they'd been but had zero interest in the cars.
