980 upgrade

I have just purchased a GTX 980 and new PSU to handle it.

i am upgrading from a AMD 7850, out of interested i wanted to know how much better the 980 is compared to the 7850 @1080p but i cant find any directed comparison

around 2 or 3 times better ?

Over 2x not sure about 3x

At high graphics quality settings (which is what you'd use the 980 at), it is actually around 3x performance:

Well it will be about 2x faster than a 7950 so compared to a 7850 it probably is around 3 times faster.

Pretty decent upgrade OP! It will be a ridiculous performance difference.
