Hello everybody!
So this is probably very obvious as to what needs to be done but I wanted to ask if any of you have had a similar issue.

So for quite a while I have been having an intermittent issue. Using the pc is perfectly fine for anything until you load a game. Game splash screen loads but once you're loading into the game for example, CS:GO as soon as you go to join a server the pc turns off and restarts. so my question to you guys is that What voltages should my pc be outputting. I had the GPU sent off to be checked under warranty in December and that was sent back to me as fine. So i'm trying to determine if my PSU is faulty and or my MOBO. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

CPU - intel i7 4770k
MOBO - msi z87 GD65
Ram - Kingston hyperx 16gb
GPU - Asus GTX 770
PSU NZXT 1000w gold rated (sorry really can't remember the model name, but will find it when i get the time)
Nothing is overclocked and yes CPU is seated correctly

Thanks,

PSU is more than ample for your setup which is a good start.

What are the temps like for the CPU and gpu, have you tried running Prime and Furmark as these will test individual components.

using hwinfo, all my temps are sat below 40 degrees on idle. on furmark the gpu gets upto around 80. and running prime my temps are sat at 55 as the max temp.
It's been a very odd fault. it will be fine for weeks but then for the next week it won't let you do anything with it. but today every test it's passed.

are you running 4 x4gb RAM modules or 2 x 8gb ?

if its 4 x 4 then I will guarantee the issue is having all the RAM slots filled is causing the reboot issue. I had exactly the same issue with my MSI P67 GD65. The MSI boards just don't seem to like having all the RAM slots filled up for some weird reason. Had a mate with exactly the same issue and pulling 2 of the RAM modules fixed it.

There was nothing wrong with the RAM in either cae, ran full mem test on each module and they all came back fine.

might need more imc/memory controller voltage if all slots are populated or 16gb+ of ram

no idea what its labelled as though on msi z87

If I couldn't fill all the ram slots and I wanted too I would change the board.

So far everything seems fine. been playing ark survival evolved and my gpu is drawing 100% power this should make it crash if its going to crash. i have changed the cable for the psu and wondering if that was part of the problem.
