Good to see something a little more uplifting amidst such a tragedy, the hotel workers put their lives in danger to try and stop these psychos killing more people and it appeared to have worked at least to some extent... they were not shooting at locals at all. Incredibly lucky giving ISIS's track record of killing fellow Muslims....

These guys may be acting in the name of Islam but don't get it twisted, they are not Muslim.

Given that Christians and muslims are busy killing people all over the world, I don't think one more guy killing people somehow prohibits him from being a muslim just on your say so.

Sort yourself out with a religious hierarchy or stop pretending you can speak for another muslim, how many infidels have you killed today eh?

Why doesn't it? They say the same about you why are you right and they wrong?

Religion. We're right about this all encompassing yet intangible thing and they're wrong. Please refrain trying to bring reason to the religious, you'll just make them angry.

Which ever member of the staff/locals who first stood up in front of him not knowing if he'd shoot them though doesn't matter what race, gender or creed they are they are a ****ing hero.

That's a level of bravery I think we'd all like to think we have but can you imagine standing in front of a man shooting people on a beach and saying "you'll have to shoot me first".

A study of Islamic literature could answer that but in most cases it's not that easy to call a Muslim a non-Muslim. However, calling yourself Muslim while rejecting something in the Quran usually takes you out of the fold of Islam.

Bit of an extreme comment there?:confused:
What exactly do you mean by hierarchy? There are scholars in Islam who speak the true word of Islam that you probably haven't even heard of. All the Islamic experts on TV tend to have hooks and are spouting nonsense

And just in case it wasn't clear I was talking about the gunman, not the brave men that protected the tourists

Why doesn't it? They say the same about you why are you right and they wrong?
And although I can't speak for another muslim, it is categorically forbidden in Islam to harm women and children, i.e. non combatants, when fighting. Just on that basis alone this guy, like so many others, has lost the plot.

That takes a tremendous amount of courage. These Muslims exemplify the noble and good side of humanity.

Indeed it does, this is how Muslims need to be reacting against extremism like this. Standing up and uniting as one

Very brave people. We need more like them in this world.
