It seems if you have a point to say about how you feel on unchecked immigration you get ridiculed and labelled the "R" word.

People are genuinely fearful of their way of life being ruined. I know a good friend who lived in Birmingham for over 40 years and she is now having to move house due to threats against her as she is basically the only white lady living in the road now. Having abuse hurled at her and all sorts of stuff done to her house(paint bombs etc) because she had the nerve to cook a BBQ and is cooking meat? I was shocked at the stories she told me of things that have happened to her in the last 10 years. This woman is a retired headmistress and isn't some yobbo.

Until it starts to affect you and your way of life, then you can't really be disparaging to those that have to live with it day in and day out.
 
Personally, I think the UK will veto this resettlement policy.

If we meekly accept it, it will give massive ammunition for the no campaign in the referendum. Personally, it would put me even more firmly in the no camp.
 
Nobody is willing to have the real full and truthful debate on immigration, one that covers all impacts on economy, public services, crime and society. The media in this country seem unable tackle these subjects rationally and it is reduced to either:

Embrace other cultures became immigration is good for the economy and benefits everyone.

or

Migrants lower wages and destroy workers rights, they increase certain crimes and put pressure on public service.

Is it not the case that both can be true? But if so we need to explore it and for experts to explain it to us. It is infuriating living in a time where we have more than ever access to accurate information yet at the same time such poor political debate.
 
There should be no african/asian migrants coming to Europe at all. Those who are coming are not the poorest and often paid thousands £££ to get here. When they get here they have no respect for country that provides them with essentials to survive (just about finished rioting in overcrowded camp in Hungary). We don't even know who they are and it doesn't take a genius to suspect there will be criminals and terrorists among them as well. The whole process is out of control and EU leaders are behaving like a bunch of idiots. They said every country that will accept migrants will get 6000 €uros for every migrant they take. What the ***k is that? If they have so much taxpayers money to spend without asking us, why don't they built a camp in Africa and take care of them there until the war is over?
 
Not sure what I think tbh, being honest i'm anti immigration now. When you see how they treated french aid that gave them food, there are some shocking videos on youtube of migrants being given canned food slightly out of date then they kick off and throw it on the floor and curse the aid workers. Not very nice people really. You don't want that around (Not again not all are like that ofc)

However there are a lot of jobs migrants fill in this country.

The problem is there isn't really enough to go around, if so many come over here what can they all do? not much.

I don't blame people wanting to escape their home countries, but you need borders to protect your own country from a massive influx.

All in all, not sure what to say but there is a limit.

Hey that sounds like a great deal :cool:

So we pay the EU Billions of pounds for nothing, and if we lube up and bend over they will give a tiny fraction of that back and throw in a free migrant/rapist/jihadi to seal the deal.

We pay other people to ruin our country for us.
Seems legit.
 
There's a limit to how much of Africa that the EU, and the UK can take, and I'd rather we didn't try and find that limit.

Compassion is one thing, but this is getting out of hand.
