I'd suggest a cheater/adulterous person shouldn't be giving out any type of relationship advise let alone so called ''religious'' morality advice!! Unless of course you want everyone to think you're a rank hypocrite!!

As for the ruling, great news just a shame it's taken this long to materialize

I don't know why it's happening for the US in particular, the UK was fairly quiet last year. But I love that this news seems to have triggered a worldwide pride party on the internet.

It's kind of astonishing how many people, of all orientations, and companies are joining in.

Less nice has been the inevitable outbursts from people who violently disagree. Turns out my sister is in that group, pretty shocked tbh..

Churches are not being forced to marry gay couple so your point is moot.

You have no right to judge anyone so don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. End of discussion.

Normally I would agree, one can have this debate without disputing a poster's character, but I feel you were making direct moral judgements about gay people. Technically it is not a Christian's privilege to do that, but rather just state the biblical position on the issue and leave the judgement calls up to the head pixie.

Just like I believe murderers should go to jail, but I can't go around arresting and judging them for it, I still have to defer to a nominated authority.

I still have a right to comment without people digging up the past. Can we all leave that alone now, please?
 
Well yes I wasn't condemning you for anything, **** happens and we all make mistakes.
I was just pointing out that the bible is a set of rules for you to follow personally, and not there to try to hold anyone else to the same standards.

You don't somehow inherit the right to judge people by being best mates with God.
You are the minion here and you have to set an example.

Others brought up my religious status. I didnt. I just said i thing gays getting married was wrong. It was only then that others brought up that i was a catholic etc etc etc. Now please, lets drop it and move on!

Amongst other things, true. "Disgusting!", "Totally alien to human life", "Being gay is a warped twisted way of living! Not natural.", "No, in real world where gay is abnormal!!", "Being gay is definitely imperfect!". There's more but I got bored.
