Why does my recents list only go back 25 days?

Had some important numbers in my recents list but it seems it gets deleted after 25 days? I've got over 2GB free space on this thing I cant find a setting for it to use up a few more kilobytes so it can keep my recent list a bit longer than 25 days.

Any help much appreciated.

Not really. On android im pretty sure it went back years and it kept far more detailed statistics. I thought recent was just the order that its displayed in not literally "recent" calls only. Why not just keep it 3 hours then.

Fed up to be honest. Now itunes is telling me it failed to sync because the connection was lost. Tried on wifi and usb. I can browse the phone fine but as soon as i hit sync it disconnects :rolleyes:

takes me ****ing ages getting music or a video ready so the iPhone can even recognise it and then i need some horrendous software like itunes to just copy it over.

Forget it I dont need anyones help. Ill help myself to a LG G4. Problem solved really

It's 'recent' not 'history'. There has to be an arbitrary cut off point which seems to be a month. I have details of calls going back to 29/05 in my 'recent' list.

I appreciate it's a bit late now but if the numbers were that important, shouldn't you have saved them?

Of course not. To me theres a difference between an actual contact and a number I've dialled. I dont go around making contacts for absolutely everything so i can show off or feel like a big shot because of how many contacts i got like most iPhone users lol.

Seriously? People 'show off' because of the number of contacts they have? That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard this week.

The point is that you said that the numbers are important. If they're important then surely you should save them. Nobody gives a flying hoot about how many contacts you have. If a number is important then save it. Simple.

Anyway, lesson learned and hopefully you will take steps to ensure it doesn't happen again. Whether than means saving important numbers (either as contacts, notes or even writing them down on a piece of paper), changing your entire platform or any other method, I wish you success.

/edit - were these important numbers ones that you've called? If so, check your bill, assuming that your carrier provides a fully itemised one.
