One last play with the clocks before I try a custom bios. I can run the card stable to 1450mhz with the stock voltage 1.187mv. Fairly surprised at that.

Guys, im trying to fit a backplate on mine but im having trouble with these goddamn screws on the reference cards!!!!! Why are they so hard to get off!!!
Ive gone through two screwdrivers and the head of the screw is proper worn now so ive pretty much no grip. Any advice?

And no I didn't buy it from OcUK so I'm not ashamed of saying thatI know the original non-Ti 980 wasn't worth upgrading to from a 770,
is there anything in the AMD camp that comes close?

. Took it out and luckly havent scratched it but had to put some tape on the GPU backplate (not visible) as by distance i mean less than 0.5mm between so i can see it easily being scratched trying to wiggle it free etc.
actually phoned ocuk to complain that it was missing only to be told it comes with motherboard. Guess ill have to order one!
