What was most disappointing is that the Police did not seem to care much about the Tax concern. I have no idea if it is insured, but looking at the collapsed fences, mounted takeaway containers in the kitchen and 2' high grass, my bet is not.

A neighbour told me his new one had no tax.

Anyone can check the MOT and Tax status of a vehicle.

They'll get him eventually (maybe/probably) - had a neighbour who thought tax was optional - after about a year they clamped it, paid up and then did the same thing again and was completely shocked when they not only clamped it 2 years later but also crushed it.
