Regarding gay marriage I dont really care, if someone wants to marry another human (male or female), I say let them. Even when I was faithful to my religion I had the same opinion.

It is not my place to decide who can't or can get married.

Correct. Neither is it my place but it still doesn't stop one from having an opinion about it.
 
People against gay marriage can dress it up any way they like but their argument is essentially that "gay relationships shouldn't be taken as seriously as straight ones" as that is the only reason you'd have a problem with what is a naming issue (given most people who oppose it say they approve of civil partnerships, just not 'marriage').

They want gay people to feel like they are not as good or worthy as straight people. It really is as simple as that.

Lots of things in the world dont affect me but i still have an opinion on it. Am i only allowed to have an opinion if it affects me?

Thats not how i view it. I just feel as though marriage should be between a man and a woman! Its not that i hate gays or think they are not good enough etc.

Why do you feel it should only be between a man and a woman?

Marriage has been around for 1000's of years (Way before A.D) so you can't say that it's because the Bible says so.

Also, humans aren't the only animals on this planet that have homosexual behaviour. Are these animals choosing to be Gay?

Its all i know. Its what i believe. Its not just because of what the Bible says either! Its about personal opinions. Just like you favour it and thats fine with me.

I am not arguing about people being gay either. My original post may have seemed like that but i wrote it wrongly.

God loves everyone!!! Gay or none Gay. Nothing wrong in being gay.

Just i feel deep down that marriage should be for a man and a woman. It is what 'Marriage' means to me and many other people.

God is perfect. We have free will which can make us very imperfect!! Being gay is definitely imperfect! Obviously not a view liked by many on here but everyone is entitled to an opinion and doesnt have to run with the gay crowd!

Exactly! But sometimes one does write in haste. I regret writing some of that as i dont hate gays!! Yes, to me Homosexuality is abnormal! Thats my view. Nothing wrong in having that view.

The very act, sexual act of 2 men having sex, putting 'things' where they were never meant to be put is very sickening and disgusting to me and any other person who is not gay! Its not 'normal' for me so it is bound to be repulsive to me.

What do you expect me to say? That i love it all! That i agree to it all? If i did i would be lying! I am not the only person on the planet that thinks like that.

You have your views. I have mine. Because i dont see things like you i must wrong and sick! That is not democratic.

You are now making an assumption that I don't have the same views as you on homosexuality. The thing is you won't know because I'm not shouting about it.

I'm not gay and I don't find the idea of gay sex disgusting, I just don't think it is for me. I also think that if we just stuck to what "should" go where for sex then you are missing an awful lot of variety...
