Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Parked up behind this earlier today - looked so clean and tidy and even had a mobile phone straight from the 80's (brick sized) in the passenger side floor well:

That looks incredible for its age! The paint has really aged well, as have the looks. Gorgeous looking thing.

Same could be said about the Aston. Is the DB9 ever going to get boring to look at?

Thankfully he put his name at the bottom of the plate, otherwise I'd still be guessing what it was meant to say.

Every time I see an Audi in red I regret getting mine in white.

I always think that about the colour I didn't get - but would be just the same had I went for those ones. I have the daytona grey and glacier white but seen a stunning blue one last week (wish I'd been able to grab a pic).

Must have been a custom colour obviously but it was the nicest shade of blue I've ever seen on a car. (it was an RS4 too which helps!).

Sure it wasn't sprint / sepang blue? That's one of the default (and popular) choices for the RS4. Kinda like the bayside / daytona blue for the R34 / 350z.

Nah it was lighter than that, heading more towards a sky blue sort of colour - but still fairly dark. Hard to describe as I've not seen any other car the same before. It was somewhat local so maybe I'll spot it again and try and snap a pic.

I suspect it was a fully custom job though after purchase

Just googled 'sky blue rs4' and one of those is the general idea, but it was a darker, deeper colour - looked stunning like

Sprint blue is a sort of sky blue colour, sepang and scuba blue are a lot darker. Sprint along with Daytona Gray are my two favourite Audi colours, but I don't Sprint is available outside of Audi Exclusive now on any of their models so to get needs another £2k+ spent on it.

deeper colour - looked stunning like

Try estoril blue audi. Much darker shade of blue than the estoril from BMW.

Edit: There was also nogaro blue which was used on the RS2. I know they did a limited edition RS4 that came in nogaro blue last year or the year before.

2 days ago, on the A2 Kent bound at Bexley, on my way back with the mrs in her 207 CC and got caught in a 3 hour traffic jam.

Then it started, knobbers driving down the hard shoulder, trying to cut in.

I had this ** Swear words must be fully starred ** trying to drive down the hard shoulder that had almost ran out!!! In the end he realised he wasn't going to get in front of me so decided to pick on the Evoque in front of me, which yielded much to my frustration.

If I had been in my Amarok, it would have been a different story as I would have blocked him with the width of the truck!

Edit: Got to the accident as it was reduced to 1 lane and there was about 2 million police cars there, noticed two traffic cops chatting away so shouted at one to come over, conversation went as follows:

Me: Do you know people are driving down the hard shoulder and cutting in?
Him: Yeah, what do you expect me to do about it?
Me: Er, stop them?
Him: I can only stop them if I see them do it
Me: You just said 'yeah' when I asked you if you know they were doing it?
Him: Blank look
Me: Unbelievable

I made a complaint on the Kent Police website!

If it was a B7 RS4 it was probably sprint blue as they are light in the sun and at certain angles can seem quite dark.

If it's a B8 then it may be Riviera blue although it isn't a metallic deep colour or particularly dark :p.

Saw another similarly "modified" X6 today.

I think the X6 might be the ultimate "I have a small willy" car.
