As per usual we always have a HOT thread and a Thunderstorm thread every year, now this year has already been special for some with golfball sized hail, serious lightning and more! As for tonight there is a RISK ( Not everyone well get a storm ) of some pretty serious storms with tornadoes and hail

Isolated heavy, and possibly severe, thunderstorms are expected to develop on Friday evening across parts of England and Wales. These are likely to become more frequent later and spread northwards towards southern Scotland. Some torrential downpours are possible leading to localised surface water flooding, with large hail and frequent lightning also possible hazards.

As someone who owns a Honda, I find this terrifying.

Parts of Durham got the golf ball sized hailstone the other day, some peoples cars absolutely ruined.

Haha, my brother-in-law has a Hyundai, golf ball sized hail will probably punch holes through that thing!

Parts of Durham got the golf ball sized hailstone the other day, some peoples cars absolutely ruined.

we have had 35 people ring up from just one village wanting quote for golfball dent repairs.

The business owner next doors week old Jag looks like it spent a week on a golf ball driving range.

Local garage has 60 damage forecourt cars.

All the skylights at work were smashed and our offices were flooded.

Scary stuff.

We had some pretty good lightning. Expecting a little bit more tonight and a lot more (with a LOT more rain) tomorrow night.

Watching the football was quite entertaining when there's a huge flash every twenty seconds from behind the curtains.

Getting a flew flashes in the Crawley area now, already the air feels clearer.

God I love a storm.

Nothing so far up here in Sneyd Green, the other night facebook was full of people bleating about the lightning in Burslem. I spent about 20 minutes outside looking in that direction, just over a mile away and saw and heard absolutely nothing.

The pollution must be really bad to suppress it from that distance.
