Hello OcUK

Corsair are supporting a deal on their RGB keyboards with the 'sails' logo on for this month.

This means big savings for those looking for an RGB board at a bargain price.

These are only available from us and one other retailer and once gone, will be gone forever.

Holy Brown Price. That's awesome. I just bought a K70 non-RGB for about that price all in inc. delivery. If only I'd waited.

Is the K70 the K95 without macro buttons?

How would red switches be for a first timer to a mech board?

Get a hold of a cherry mx sampler to see what you think. I got one with 8 switches - red, blue, brown, black, green, grey, white, and clear - but you probably won't be interested in the last 4 as they are rarer and not as popular so the 4 key sampler might be enough.

After reading up I thought greens were for me, but went for browns.

Does this mean you'll not be going back to the sails logo again then? It was infinitely more classy than that awful tramp stamp someone at Corsair came up with :o

Corsair have adopted their new gaming sails logo that looks like flames (IMO).

Change for changes sake.

Should have stuck to the old classic sails logo.

Finally caved and picked up a K70 with browns! At this price, it'd be rude not to!

Maybe I shouldn't say caved. I'm sure I won't regret it, it's just I realised I was holding out for some "perfect" keyboard the certainly doesn't currently exist, and I'm not sure ever will.

Anyway, looking forward to when it arrives! Thanks OC!

Disagree. It was just a few months ago that I looked at a Corsair mouse emblazoned with that ship, and wondered why anyone would pay a premium for such a tacky looking product.

Horses for courses, but the sails logo is pure tat. The new one at least looks like they tried to design something original.

..I still find the idea of paying that much for keyboard offensive TBH.

Yet you have a signature full of high end hardware that is all worth considerably more than one of these boards.

If you use your computer even more than a few hours, the primary input device for it should be top of your list for considerable investment

I bought a K70 with Reds a few weeks back foir my birthday and I damn sure don't regret it. I've had a few Mechs before and this is simply the best quality one I have had personally.

To be fair to him, there shouldn't be a real difference between a cherry mx keyboard priced at £60ish and these at RRP £150ish it's not high end hardware it's the brand and some leds.

Like Razer kit, just because they charge out the ass doesn't make it worth it as the returns on their headsets I've had attest to.

Oh agreed. Any cherry mx board would be solid.

But there is big savings to be had here. Especially for an rgb optiin

Oh, yeah I'm not bashing it just playing devils advocate. If I had the capital I'd be buying up one on these in a heartbeat and messing with the light software like a kid at Christmas.

I doubt anyone's likely to get one of these at a lower price like with the 980ti's you guys seem to be leading the pack for low pricing as far as the UK goes.

I find that pricing for these RGB boards is still way to high, I know it is a new technology so will be for awhile but damn, a decent mech can be had for £60 with normal LED's.

You're kinda missing the point if you're comparing these to keyboards with normal LEDs. There's a reason why boards with normal LEDs are a lot less costly.

I'm not they are good prices for what competitors are charging but I am just pointing out that I think for some LED's that change color really isn't worth paying almost double for that option. I understand some people will like it and find it worth while I was just stating my opinion ;) :p
