I was walking with the family down the town and could see a ton of smoke, as we got further towards the main road it was blocked by police cars. Went down a side alley, walked down another road and there it was, pretty much an entire block of flats up in flames. Roof on fire too with people watching and sirens going off all over the place

Whilst it is a sad sight to see, it does show how shabby some 'modern' apartments have been built. The whole thing has just burned away.

True, apparently it took about an hour maybe less for the entire block to go up. However I don't think the heat and this strong wind was helping :(

Wow that's unfortunate! Hope no one was injured :(

He said: "We believe the fire is now under control, but this could change if the direction of the wind changes. There are no casualties from the 25 flats "We believe that it started at flat number one and then spread through the block and we have had to close the city ring road in order for fire services to access the site.

25 flats

Nobody is laughing at anyone  It was a simple word joke that you overreacted to. It's a good job you don't work in the emergency services...

No and for your information emergency services wouldn't say " Oh your house just burnt down? Houses burn down all the time, get a grip! "

Uhh there are like 40k fires per year in the UK for houses...this is kinda i dunno, not news-worthy for anyone but people from the locality >_>

No, they'd just get on with it because they deal with stuff like this every day. You're acting as if you've just witnessed the worst thing to ever happen to anyone in human history.

Like myself, it was an awful sight, have never seen so many people crying. People screaming my animals!
