Bingo. I don't really mind if people want to make snarky comments. I intentionally did not give more detail as I wanted to keep all options on the table.
I was curious to see if people had any fantastic watches that I should know about in that price range.
Not looking to spend much more than £400-£500 as I don't want haute horology to compromise my marriage. lol

I had my eyes on something like this for a while now http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/Tissot-Visodate-Mens-Watch/p/17360569/.

I can also get 10% off on this (corporate discount) which makes it even more appealing.

Why not look on the for sale section of watchuseek.com?

You can get 2 or 3 times the watch for your money by buying used.

You could get a TW Steel watch for around that budget, some of their watches are lovely. But they are big so it depends on your wrist size/taste on whether you would like them on.

Intentional or not, it probably just comes across as lazy (ie: no research) and a little bit dim to people who take the time to help you.

The watch you linked is pretty generically styled, and I think metal straps look and wear much better than leather, but if you really like it then go for it.

I don't have a watch, why?

Because I cannot afford the one I want and my phone does the same job! :p

A phone does not do the same job, but keep telling yourself that until you can afford one. :p

Is this just a US site? Does a UK equivalent exist?

People from all over the world post there, I got my Omega Seasmaster from a uk seller.

PS:

Buying new at your budget is a good way to waste money, your best going second hand.

What style of watch do you want?

a diver, chronograph, GMT, dressy watch?
