Is this Isopropyl alcohol okay?

Hi, I've just realized I had no Isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the TIM off my CPU and GPU. However the shops near me only sell this type of Isopropyl alcohol.

According to a bit of research online it is 99.7% purity but I would feel re-assured if someone could confirm this

Would this Isopropyl alcohol be okay for CPU/GPU die cleaning? :confused:

Just another quick question, since it is a spray canister I assume the best way is to spray it onto a microfiber cloth/cotton bud when cleaning instead of directly onto the die.

99.7% should have ridiculously low electrical conductivity but still I'd rather keep things controlled and spray it onto something else personally.

So should I spray it onto the microfiber cloth/cotton bud first or spray into a container and dab it onto the cotton bud/cloth?

I'm just trying to work out which is better/safer?

Throw it into a fire if you want some action.

With my bottle of alcohol, I just put my finger inside a cloth, put the finger over the top of the bottle and tip the bottle upside down to soak a little area of the cloth.

To be honest I would have preferred a bottle but they only had these spray cans in stock

Get a old shampoo bottle, clean said shampoo bottle out thoroughly ( sterile ) spray contents from tin into shampoo bottle.... you now have a bottle of it

!

EDIT : Just make sure nobody mistakes it for shampoo xD

Knowing my luck I'll end up using it... well at least it will be clean
