PSN - Slow Download Speed

Has anybody noticed slow download speeds on PSN in the last week or so? It took me an hour and a half to download a 300mb update a few nights ago and now it's telling me it's going to take 8 hours to download a 14gb game. Speedtest results were 56mb down on PC and 36mb down on PS4, no issues with speed on PC but PS4 seems very slow lately.

I know it's common that people don't get great speeds on PSN but this is a bit ridiculous, nothing has changed in my setup. I looked online and there does seem to be others affected but nobody is offering any solutions. Anyone else got this issue? If so, had any luck in resolving the problem?
 
Yes and it's DOING MY HEAD IN.

Started downloading Elder Scrolls Online yesterday about 8pm......24hours later and i've still got 10 hours to go.


edit: I should note that I downloaded GTAV digitally and that took less than 10 hours overall.

re-running the network connection wizard has worked in the past for me
 
If you can constantly supervise the download then doing something as simple as restarting the download a few times can bump the speed up massively, but its not a permanent fix and the download speed can drop down again

There has been speed issues on PSN for the past week which Sony are aware of and trying to fix. It has been reported on a number of gaming websites.

So it's not a problem with your connection.
 
I have always found it slow as well, PS3, PS4 and vita, always had the fastest connection available as well.

Pretty crap considering I can cap out on steam and XBLive.
