Never heard of that until now. Straight on Wiki!

Recursive self-improvement. Computers building computers. We're limited by our intelligence and can only go so far apparently. If we're to go further, our thinking must be amplified or a computer built that can out-think us.
 
Wandered past the storefront advertising these on Regent Street today. Had a good 30 or so people taking photos.

Getting more interested in it now too.
 
Watched it too. I like that it is different to other robot/android movies/tv shows.

Was surprised when the father got drunk and had a go though. Felt weird indeed. But pretty sure many humans would want to do this :o
 
Aye a Gemma Chan bot, I figure Plenty would have a go.
She has the perfect synth face, the actors playing the synths do a great job of emotionless into emotion very well.

Can't say I'd blame the fella for activating additional features. I would! :D
 
There's gonna be some fighting going on between dad and son once he finds out I bet.
 
Really enjoying this series, what is really well done as the small things, the little unforeseen effects on society that this technology would have.
