Double glazing costs

I need to replace 2 double glazed windows both are 3 (2 open) panel one is 1.3m x 1.73m and the second is 1.25m x 1.73m. I have had a quote for £800 from a local company (London) for some A rated Kommerling windows.

Are these windows any good and is the price about right?

We had a local firm do a single replacement window with one top opening fan-light and that was £400, so your quote seems pretty fair.

Not sure about the Kommerling brand though, but price wise seems fine assuming its supply and fit, make good etc.

Try a couple of quotes and see what the average is and then you can tell if it's cheap or not.

We paid £1500 for 3 windows and 2 doors in wood effect but that was about 5 years ago so prices could have changed.

I'm trying to get a few quotes and not having much luck, it seems that round here tradesmen can pick and choose and our job isn't bug enough.

A mate of mine picked some up from Wickes over the weekend so that might be a cheaper option.

Price is right for a decent profile, fitted, with a FENSA certificate.

They were good tbh,no pressure sales and fitting was good
