How many times have you moved house?

I'm including when you were younger/in parents/family housing as well. I'm interested in knowing how many times your living environment has changed in your lifetime basically. I don't think I could put up with moving loads!! :)
 
I'm 35, I've lived in 5 different addresses in my life, but moved 6 times (once was out of my mums, then back in again 5 years later) I can't remember one of the moves as I was about 3.

I'm currently in the process of selling my first home and buying somewhere bigger, so will then be my 6th address. :)
 
10 may be, and one of them different continent.

It's hard to keep count, moved every year at uni and I went to 3 different ones...
 
Do you include when your parents moved when you were a child? Do you include university accommodation?

If so well over a dozen times over a few countries.
 
By 21 I had moved house maybe 13 times, my early years in life certainly were not the best.

I guess growing up with a lot of anger and negativity is still a part of me, even visiting forums like this I seem to voice my opinion but it always causes some kind of stir, but having said that I would rather speak my true honest opinions and not say what I think everyone else wants to hear - this seems very common on the Internet these days, people often agree with others in fear of been singled out, even if they know agreeing to it is wrong or against there views. A lot of the time I may come across as been an idiot but I genuinely do not try to be like that.
 
Moved twice with parents - fortunately at good intervals - the first time I was about 3 so only vaguely aware and the 2nd time was when I was just about to start secondary school so a fairly natural break point in my life.

Since marriage.. I'm in our second home and the mortgage has been paid off since 2012

I'm now 54

Mum & Dad got divorced and as the eldest child my dad would come home ****ed and I was the .... Scapegoat so I ended up moving in with Mum

Mum then went off to London chasing the Big Bucks and took my bro & sis with them so I exchanged house (stupidly) for a 1 bed flat

Within the space of 2 months my bro & sis moved back (hated London) and then my dad moved in !! I ended up "hot-bed" swapping with my dad (I worked nights at Hotpoint) (in the "put me up" alcove in the lounge)

My dad then died (June 20th 1982 (Fathers Day)) and I lost the plot and buggered off back to Australia for a year, stopping at my best friends parents house around the corner from where I lived in Solandra Way (I lived at no 5, they lived at No. 36)

And there I stayed until I got married.

33 and moved 10 times, from Lancashire to Devon to Peterborough to MK back to Devon then back again to MK.
Its kinda weird as i don't really class myself from anywhere now.
