Would you buy an AMD Fury Pro if it was cheaper and faster than a GTX 980 ?

why oh why the hell didn't they put a dvi port on the fury x ill never know.

Becuase only old, ****** monitors use DVI?......

Only an idiot would couple a Fury X flagship £500 card with a crappy £50 DVI monitor from 6 years or more ago.#

Hell, my backup monitor is 6 years old (NEC 24WMGX3) and it has a HDMI port even.....

I would; possibly for second system; but I have pcs+ 290 which is a beast; which doesn't fit into my second case; so for that might be waiting on Nano :D

Kinda want the Fury X but waiting for price to drop a little; but if Fury can match fury X with an OC; I'd pick one up....

Follow PCS+ 290 owner here :D

I use my Dell IPS via DVI with my 980, DP has only ever been super flaky and crap for me, never bothered with HDMI.

My 3 year old IPS 1440p only has a DVI port, that I did only pay £150 for it from Korea :D

If I didn't already have my 2 290's, without a doubt, I was considering a 980Ti but considered against it given the performance loss and price.
I may upgrade to two furies at a later date though when the price comes down.

Tell that to everyone would bought a 960 near launch.. some people never learn :)

Is SLI 290s really faster than an aftermarket 980ti?

i just saw the tests, it outperforms 980, and way too close perf to furyX.
makes me wonder why AMD launched FuryX 1st, since it wasn't gonna outperform the Ti, the best solution would have been to get the Fury out, then announce Fury XT later, gives them time to work on drivers and tweek it better.
fury is a superb card, launch ruined by some idiots on AMD team.
Fury is my next card.

Well part of the X premium is the AIO cooler, so I'd expect standard Furys to not be far behind if pricing is as expected.

lol this response actually made me laugh, I now use two 980ti's and guess what... still using DVI

I'm only really interested in the Nano, and even then, only at the right price.

Hot or loud cards are not on my radar :p
